In an ideal world or today, it doesn't matter whether it is women running large organizations like the International Monetary Fund, Microsoft, or the Democratic Party. Is it important for SMB owners or tech startups to make women more accessible to finance? If miners, factory workers or fishermen get a better share of profits and can send their children to school, does he mind that women make this possible? Nevertheless, given the rapidly approaching challenges of the future, it is still crucial to promote more women to leadership positions in our time.
Let’s start with some facts.
Women CEOs make up 6.4% of the Fortune 500 list in America.
The companies that boast a higher representation of women on their boards, notably outperform the organizations that don’t.
Furthermore, studies have also outlined that companies with greater gender diversity, not just within their workforce but directly among senior leaders, are significantly more profitable than those without.
For every 10% increase in gender diversity, earnings before interest and taxes rose by a glaring 3.5%.
From these data, we can find that female leaders have a significant and measurable impact on the bottom line of the organization.
When women become leaders, they offer different skills, resourceful perspectives, and most importantly, structural and cultural differences that promote effective solutions. When you introduce a creative point of view, a new awareness will follow, seeing finer details that the naked eye may not miss.
1. CHANGE IS SLOWLY APPROACHING
Since 2015 the number of women in senior leadership has grown, particularly in the C-suite where the representation of women has increased from 17% to 21%. Today, 44% of companies have three or more women in their C-suite, up from 29% of companies in 2015. The diversity of leadership is good for the company. For example, the Harvard Business School report on the male-dominated venture capital industry found that “the more similar investment partners are, the lower their investment performance”. In fact, a company that increased the proportion of female partners by 10% had an average annual increase of 1.5% in total returns and a 9.7% increase in exit profits.

Evolving job needs are empowering women and levelling the playing field. The new service economy doesn’t rely on physical strength but skills that come easily to women, such as determination, attention to detail and measured thinking. The female brain is naturally wired for long-term strategic vision and community building.
2. TECH IS FOR EVERYONE
There is no masculinity in blockchain, artificial intelligence (AI), or machine learning; computers are androgynous in nature. However, the technology industry is still dominated by men. According to the World Economic Forum, the main challenge in preventing the economic gender gap from narrowing is the underrepresentation of women in new roles. We must be open enough to attract female executives who have no technical background in other industries. We need to work closely with schools and universities to win the argument that technology is not just a male career path.

Technology also plays a role and responsibility in promoting diversity in the workplace because it can change working relationships, increase transparency, and connect people around the world. In an era of constant change, organizations that prioritize a culture of diversity and inclusiveness are better able to solve future problems. Women can lead our sector forward too. Now that technology is all-pervasive, the traditional sector lines have become blurred. Brands that cling to the old structures will find themselves overtaken and left behind. This is when women’s ability to empathize and seek compromise becomes a powerful asset.
3. THE POWER OF POLITICS
Globally, more women are now elected to legislative bodies: women accounted for 25.2% of parliamentary seats and 21.2% of ministerial offices, compared with 24.1% and 19% in the previous year. Although there is still a long way to go, increasing women’s political power is usually accompanied by an increase in the number of women in managerial positions in the labor market. The survival of the earth requires new thinking and new strategies. We are in an open battle between current resources and attitudes and the future we are striving to be born. Women understand; young people understand. You have created a completely different mindset.
In the end, the problem we face is not a technical problem, but a human problem-the human system has collapsed. People should always be appointed based on merit, voters must make choices, but more needs to be done so that all women have the best chance of being promoted to the top. When this happens, I will be the first to say that it does not matter who is responsible.
As we can see the importance of female leaders in today’s world but there are some major challenges that females face.
They are as follows:
The first and most obvious challenge is that most people in the room are men, but this gives women a chance to stand out and make a lasting impression from the start.
A recurring scene revolves around the establishment of a support network in a male-dominated room. Use this opportunity to find men and women as contacts and mentors to support you in your career path.
Having a full-time job, coupled with the pressure of supporting a family, usually makes it difficult to balance work and personal life. But if the pandemic has taught us anything, it is how to achieve a healthy work-life balance.
The sad nature of many women is that expectations can often be set lower. The trick is not to see this in the dark, but to change your vision, realize that it is easier to surpass your goals and show why you should not do this. Ignore.
Women are generally considered to be more emotional and less decisive than men, but women bring more diverse physical, mental, and emotional experiences in daily conversations.
